About the role

  • Sales Specialist managing customer relationships and driving business development for MUFG Financial Group. Focusing on account retention and solicitation within assigned market segments.

Responsibilities

  • High-level responsibility for account retention and solicitation of major depository relationships of customers and prospects within an assigned market segment
  • Generates a high level of new business in respective industry/industries through new customer acquisition and cross-selling bank products and services
  • Prepares highly complex proposals and proformas for new services sold to assigned customers and prospects
  • Conducts sophisticated analyses of pricing requests for assigned and prospective customers
  • Maintains a complex portfolio of highly-significant customers and provides leadership in assuring high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Organizes, directs and implements an effective written account retention program for each customer
  • Develops significant professional relationships with assigned high-value customers and prospects
  • Monitors and updates customer profiles that are maintained in ESB
  • Ensures compliance with bank policies relative to Regulatory Compliance such as the Bank Secrecy Act, USA Patriot Act, Anti-Money Laundering Act, Privacy Act and Regulations Q & X

Requirements

  • Requires a degree from a four-year college (e.g., B.A., B.S.)
  • Minimum of five to ten years of sales and relationship management experience
  • Extensive working knowledge of marketing and sales techniques of the Bank's products and their benefit to customers
  • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) accreditation required
  • Excellent knowledge of cash management products and services
  • Must have excellent knowledge of Bank's AAA and Deposit Profitability system
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent PC skills - Excel, PowerPoint, Word, ESB, Proposal Library and other PC applications
  • Ability to work independently and provide leadership
