About the role

  • Payroll Support Assistant handling payroll processing and data management for GXO. Ensuring data integrity and compliance while supporting payroll delivery at the ASOS site in Barnsley.

Responsibilities

  • Producing reports and dashboards using Excel (Pivot Tables, Formulas, Data Models)
  • Supporting weekly and monthly payroll cycles, including overtime, absence, and holiday records
  • Implement and maintain payroll trackers, spreadsheets, and databases for accurate monitoring of pay, attendance, and absence data
  • Maintaining accurate payroll data across HRIS and Time & Attendance systems
  • Responding to payroll queries and resolving discrepancies

Requirements

  • Strong administrative experience, ideally in payroll or data-heavy roles
  • Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, conditional formatting)
  • Excellent attention to detail and a proactive, analytical mindset
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Experience with HRIS or T&A Systems are a must!
