About the role

Responsibilities

  • Are you looking for a challenge that combines People’s strategic vision with the complexity of Engineering and Operations? We are seeking a People Business Partner Coordinator to lead the People agenda in one of the largest expansion initiatives in our history: the FullPotential Project.
  • This professional will wear two hats: they will act as the BP for the Directorate of Project Engineering and lead the People/Expansion Squad, ensuring the people-related schedule is executed with excellence. This is a structuring role with a forward-looking vision and direct impact on CAPEX, OPEX and the ramp-up of thousands of new employees.
  • **Responsibilities and Duties**
  • **Squad Leadership:** Orchestrate the cross-functional People squad (Attraction, Learning, Compensation, Health, Talent Management, Ergonomics and Education), ensuring delivery against the expansion timeline.
  • **Strategic Partnership:** Act as Business Partner to the Directorate of Project Engineering, PMO and Governance, connecting organizational design decisions to financial feasibility and budget compliance.
  • **Critical Path Management:** Ensure HR actions are fully synchronized with construction and engineering schedules to prevent delays that could impact the project’s financial results.
  • **Stakeholder Management:** Interface directly with VPs of Operations, Finance, Procurement and Compliance, and indirectly lead a team of approximately 10 specialists.
  • **Culture and Engagement:** Safeguard the mental health and engagement of teams assigned to high-pressure, complex projects.
  • **Governance and Reporting:** Maintain rigorous administrative management, reporting KPIs, plant schedule status and HR deliverables to the project committees.

Requirements

  • **Experience as a Business Partner:** Proven track record in consultative work with senior leaders (Directors and Senior Managers).
  • **Project Management:** Deep knowledge of project management methodologies (essential for leading the squad).
  • **People Subsystems:** Mastery of core HR mechanisms (high-volume attraction, industrial/plant compensation, Training and Succession Planning).
  • **Leadership:** Experience in direct leadership or network/squad leadership (influencing without direct hierarchical authority).
  • **Business Owner Profile:** Ability to think like a business owner, making decisions based on data, facts and financial impact.
  • **Executive Communication:** Ability to build alliances and exert cross-functional influence in politically complex environments.
  • **Availability:** Flexibility for a hybrid work arrangement (plant located in São José dos Pinhais) and availability for frequent travel to units and construction sites (e.g., Pouso Alegre).
