About the role

  • Generate net new pipeline through proactive outreach, research, and targeted engagement
  • Break into new government accounts and build strong stakeholder relationships
  • Scope, structure, and close pilots that lead to full production deployments
  • Secure access to contract vehicles or operate effectively through existing partner or customer pathways
  • Navigate government procurement, budgeting, and contracting processes to accelerate deals
  • Manage opportunities end to end, from qualification through close
  • Prepare proposals and supporting materials to move opportunities forward
  • Attend key industry events to uncover new opportunities
  • Collaborate with product and engineering to align customer needs with platform capabilities

Requirements

  • 4 plus years of experience in defense acquisition or government sales
  • Proven hunter who creates pipeline and closes complex government deals
  • Strong understanding of government procurement, funding cycles, and acquisition processes
  • Demonstrated success structuring pilots and working through contract vehicles
  • Excellent communication skills and authentic relationship building style
  • Detail oriented with strong follow through and the ability to manage multiple opportunities
  • Comfort working in a fast paced environment with high autonomy.
