About the role

  • Product Marketing Intern leading a project to enhance Vaisala's product visibility in AI-assisted buying journeys. Collaborating with experts in a dynamic team environment during a summer internship.

Responsibilities

  • explore how buyers increasingly use Large Language Models (LLMs) to discover, compare, and shortlist solutions
  • determine how Vaisala’s product information should be structured, optimized, and published so that LLMs can reliably surface offerings
  • investigate which content and formats best improve LLM discoverability and accuracy
  • define the best way for Vaisala to move forward in this area
  • research how LLMs evaluate and present product information to buyers
  • audit currently available Vaisala product content for LLM compatibility
  • experiment with alternative content and structures to test their impact on LLM output
  • create a prototype or pilot content package showcasing LLM-friendly product information
  • collaborate with product marketing, digital marketing, and product experts to ensure accuracy and alignment
  • prepare presentations and demonstrations of progress and insights

Requirements

  • in the late stages of your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field, such as marketing, business, technology, information systems, engineering, or similar discipline
  • ideally, experience or strong interest in prompt engineering and working with LLMs
  • basic understanding of SEO and how content structure affects discoverability
  • understanding of core product marketing principles, such as positioning, messaging, and differentiation
  • ability to analyze and compare product content (web pages, datasheets, FAQs) and identify improvement opportunities
  • ability to structure projects independently, manage your time, and deliver results without close supervision
  • capability to interpret complex information and summarize it clearly for different audiences
  • interest in explaining technical concepts in a way that is engaging and easy to understand
