About the role

Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor to leaders on organization design, team dynamics, and workforce planning
- Drive HR initiatives aligned with company objectives, e.g., performance enablement, talent calibration, and engagement strategies
- Coach leaders on people leadership, feedback, and development practices
- Collaborate closely with the leadership team on change management and communication strategies
- Work closely with colleagues in Talent Acquisition to ensure a seamless, holistic people experience
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of two People Operations Specialists based in Berlin
- Oversee day-to-day People Operations and ensure consistent, legally compliant, and efficient processes for onboarding, offboarding, contracts, benefits, and more — for all employees in Europe (especially Germany)
- Drive operational excellence, automation, and process improvements across the entire employee lifecycle
- Own and optimize Personio, our systems, and data quality
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in HR, including solid experience as an HR Business Partner or People Partner
- Passion for coaching and people development — and the desire to grow into your first leadership role
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and influence at all levels
- Solid understanding of HR fundamentals: employment law, HRIS, performance management, compensation & benefits, etc.
- Experience handling complex employee-relations issues with good judgment, empathy, and a business-minded approach
- Analytical mindset — you use people data to inform decisions
- Excellent German and English skills
