About the role

  • Social Media & Communities Manager at Good Energy focusing on organic social media strategies and community engagement. Leading content creation and nurturing audience relationships in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver an organic social media strategy and channel content calendars aligned with business priorities, marketing plans, and growth goals.
  • Create high-quality, engaging social content and copy across multiple formats in collaboration with in-house design teams to support campaign objectives.
  • Nurture online communities through active engagement and sentiment monitoring, working closely with Customer Service to manage interactions and escalate issues.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, PR, and Product teams to ensure social activity for key campaigns and launches is delivered to a high standard.
  • Track performance data and platform trends to provide insights that continually improve content relevance, engagement, and community growth.
  • Ensure all social activity is consistent, inclusive, and aligned with brand values, ensuring all communications and marketing claims are accurate and substantiated

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing organic social media channels and community engagement for a brand
  • Strong copywriting skills, with the ability to create clear, compelling messaging across platforms.
  • Ability to create or coordinate social content across formats (including short-form video and platform-native content)
  • Confident working cross-functionally and managing multiple stakeholders to deliver high-quality work on time
  • Strong understanding of social performance reporting, analytics and optimisation.
  • A passionate and driven individual, comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, with a commitment to producing work that exceeds expectations in both quality and impact
