About the role

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst providing services to children experiencing autism in various settings. Conducting assessments and training Behavior Interventionists while ensuring compliance with Medicaid guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Provides services to children experiencing autism in the child’s home, clinic, and community
  • Conducts comprehensive functional behavior assessments
  • Conducts various developmental assessments (VB MAPP, ABLS, Vineland)
  • Writes comprehensive behavior-analytic treatment plans that follow Medicaid guidelines
  • Completes semi-annual member progress update reports for continued treatment authorization
  • Monitors and adjusts behavior plans throughout the treatment period in accordance with the child’s progression
  • Effectively manages caseload, prepares and submits all required documentation in a timely manner
  • Ensures member medical record billing is accurate and timely
  • Assists in the hiring process of Behavior Interventionists (interview, follow up interview)
  • Trains and clinically supervises Behavior Interventionists implementing case specific, evidence based interventions, and goals while protecting client’s rights, dignity and privacy
  • Provides minimum level of 10% client supervision monthly
  • Provides ongoing training in ABA principles and practices
  • Collaborates with families in the development of behavior support strategies
  • Drives to meetings or other GOBHI locations as needed
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Three years or more working directly with children experiencing autism or severe behavioral challenges
  • Experience conducting Early Childhood Language and Developmental Assessments, such as the ABLLS, Vineland, and VB-MAPP
  • Experience in Early Intensive Behavior Intervention services
  • Experience in writing Comprehensive and Focused based treatment plans
  • Experience in Supervision of Registered Behavior Interventionists
  • Experience in working with underserved rural populations
  • Work favorably with members, families and staff
  • Demonstrates compassion, responsibility and a cheerful attitude
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively at multiple levels
  • Technology Savvy – comfortable using MS software, Google Suites software, data collection software, iOS
  • Maintains good driving record and required vehicle insurance
  • Education – Master’s degree in acceptable field and current BCBA certification with the Behavior Analysts Certification Board
