Responsibilities
- Develop programme plan incorporating milestones and dependencies from cross functional project teams
- Develop and rollout governance framework for the program
- Develop and rollout financial management (budget) framework and resource allocation
- Develop framework for the management of risks and issues
- Complete thorough stakeholder analysis and communication plan
- Deliver to timelines, quality level, budget, while addressing issues and risks.
- Use KPIs to demonstrate progress and ensure that projects are realising benefits.
- Create, socialise and sign off business cases with executive stakeholders.
- Accountable to manage significant cost and benefits targets.
- Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, success criteria results, metrics, deliverables, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across leadership and to various audiences, including project team, sponsors and key stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from college or university
- 8+ years of project management experience.
- 8+ years of experience working with business stakeholders within a cross-functional matrix environment.
- MBA preferred but not required.
- Consulting experience preferred but not required.
- Demonstrate decisiveness in resolving business problems, making decisions or driving the decision making process and identifying priorities.
- PMP or similar preferred
- Experience in the software development lifecycle, including Agile and Waterfall methodologies preferable
