About the role
- Project Manager coordinating and overseeing software development projects with GitLab and Azure DevOps. Working closely with teams to ensure timely project delivery aligned with organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- Plan, track, and manage software application development projects using GitLab and Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate with developers, QA, and business stakeholders to gather and clarify requirements.
- Maintain project schedules, track progress, and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
- Identify risks, resolve blockers, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and business users.
- Oversee code management, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment activities through GitLab and Azure DevOps.
- Support testing, user acceptance, and successful deployment of applications.
- Document project status, issues, and lessons learned, report to leadership and stakeholders.
Requirements
- **Education:** Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- **Experience:** 3+ years of project management experience in software or application development.
- **Project Management Tools Desired:** Hands-on experience with GitLab and Azure DevOps for project tracking, version control, and CI/CD. Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or other software development methodologies.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing multiple development projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and software release management.
- Experience with other development or collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence, Slack).
- **Certifications Preferred:**
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP).
- **Clearance Requirement:**
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
