Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for the management of all aspects of assigned projects.
- Managing the development and process for evaluation of bid documents for engineering, design and construction, as well as for the procurement of material and equipment.
- Ensuring all aspects of the projects are documented and completed in accordance with company policies and all regulations and laws.
- Responsible for independently managing smaller projects, demonstrating proficiency in the Project Lifecycle and project controls requirements.
Requirements
- Requires knowledge in the theoretical and practical application of project management techniques and tools including project management software.
- Requires knowledge of design and construction of electric or gas transmission, distribution and/or substations or commercial / industrial, renewables or oil & gas industry projects.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (preferred), Construction Management, Business, related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Three (3) to Five (5) years of experience in electric utility construction or project management experience.
