About the role
- Head of Operations in APAC managing manufacturing, supply chain, and logistics for Givaudan. Leading the operations function and ensuring on-time delivery of products.
Responsibilities
- Provide Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Quality and Facilities oversight for APAC Region
- Lead the Operations function to deliver products to customers on time
- Drive organizational synergy and process integration initiatives (Operations Excellence)
- Oversee the execution of annual human resources processes within Regional Operations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or related discipline
- MBA or Master’s degree in a Technical field is preferred
- 20+ years of experience in manufacturing operations with strong background in supply chain, quality and/or materials management
- Over 12 years of progressive experience in people management
- Expertise in world class manufacturing concepts (LEAN)
- Strong understanding of financial concepts (e.g. OPEX, CAPEX)
