About the role

  • Lead and mentor an expediting team, assign tasks based on project needs, and assist with performance reviews.
  • Supervise and provide guidance to other expediters and staff, ensuring consistency and high performance.
  • Prepare and maintain all necessary expediting reports, material tracking logs, and other project documentation for management review.
  • Act as a point of contact with suppliers to track production schedules, obtain engineering data, and ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Anticipate potential delays or risks and work with internal teams (like project management, engineering, and procurement) to implement mitigation strategies.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, such as project managers, commercial, finance, and engineering teams, to ensure alignment and address process gaps.
  • Coordinate the movement of goods and materials, develop expediting strategies, and participate in project planning.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Sourcing, Engineering or Sales and etc.
  • Fluency in English
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Knowledge of supply chain, manufacturing, and logistics processes
  • Proficiency with relevant software, such as ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
  • Ability to perform well under pressure and manage multiple conflicting deadlines.
  • Strong organizational, IT, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of customs regulations and trade laws can be beneficial.
