Responsibilities
Lead and mentor an expediting team, assign tasks based on project needs, and assist with performance reviews.
Supervise and provide guidance to other expediters and staff, ensuring consistency and high performance.
Prepare and maintain all necessary expediting reports, material tracking logs, and other project documentation for management review.
Act as a point of contact with suppliers to track production schedules, obtain engineering data, and ensure timely delivery of materials.
Anticipate potential delays or risks and work with internal teams (like project management, engineering, and procurement) to implement mitigation strategies.
Work closely with internal stakeholders, such as project managers, commercial, finance, and engineering teams, to ensure alignment and address process gaps.
Coordinate the movement of goods and materials, develop expediting strategies, and participate in project planning.
Requirements
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Sourcing, Engineering or Sales and etc.
Fluency in English
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Knowledge of supply chain, manufacturing, and logistics processes
Proficiency with relevant software, such as ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
Ability to perform well under pressure and manage multiple conflicting deadlines.
Strong organizational, IT, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of customs regulations and trade laws can be beneficial.
