About the role

  • Identify, qualify and develop new business opportunities to contribute to regional revenue and growth targets
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline aligned with Genetec’s strategic objectives and key vertical sectors (public safety, transportation, enterprise, retail, etc.)
  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to ensure a steady flow of qualified opportunities
  • Strengthen relationships with key end users, system integrators, distributors, consultants and technology partners across Brazil
  • Collaborate with technology partners (e.g., Axis, HID, BOSCH, Hanwha Vision, Assa Abloy, Dell, etc.) to design and execute joint initiatives, trainings and business opportunities
  • Act as a trusted advisor to partners, ensuring alignment between local projects and Genetec’s global strategy
  • Work together with commercial and channel teams to align business development efforts with broader sales goals
  • Support marketing and partner enablement teams by participating in regional events, webinars and lead-generation campaigns
  • Contribute to customer presentations and technical discussions to drive solution differentiation
  • Develop and execute territory business plans incorporating market intelligence, competitor activity and customer insights
  • Provide feedback to leadership on local market conditions and evolving customer needs
  • Serve as the local expert on market trends, regulations and emerging opportunities in the Brazilian security sector
  • Ensure that cybersecurity positioning remains a core differentiator in all customer and partner engagements
  • Promote adoption of security-by-design principles and educate partners on Genetec’s privacy-first philosophy
  • Track and report pipeline growth, opportunity conversion and partner performance
  • Provide regular updates to regional and global leadership on progress, challenges and key initiatives

Requirements

  • Business acumen: Proven experience in business development or sales, preferably in technology or security solutions. Strong understanding of Brazilian market dynamics and enterprise sales cycles
  • Relationship building: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and influence at multiple levels — from partners to end users
  • Cybersecurity knowledge: Familiarity with cybersecurity trends and their integration into physical security solutions
  • Analytical and strategic thinking: Ability to interpret data, identify opportunities and develop strategic plans to capture growth
  • Collaboration and teamwork: Proven track record working cross-functionally with marketing, sales, channel and technology partner teams
  • Cultural awareness: Deep understanding of Brazilian business practices, communication styles and decision-making processes
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related field. MBA or equivalent qualification is a plus
  • Minimum of 5 years in Business Development or Sales, preferably in security, IT or technology sectors. Experience working with system integrators, distributors and technology partners in Brazil is essential
  • Familiarity with Genetec solutions (Security Center, VMS, Access Control, Cloud and SaaS) and the broader ecosystem is a strong advantage
  • Fluency in Portuguese is required; proficiency in English is essential; Spanish is a plus
  • This role is home-based, with regular client visits and partner engagements across the territory
