Responsibilities
Strategic and operational management of an assigned top account (hard discount) for the spices product group (private label and branded products)
Personal management, development and expansion of the assigned customer nationally and internationally by leading and owning negotiations on prices, terms and framework conditions
Responsibility for sales and revenue targets
Planning, control and analysis, e.g., through execution of budget planning and sales forecasting, customer management, and derivation of relevant KPIs
Continuous analysis of competitor positions and assortments and derivation of concrete recommendations for action
Development of customer-specific annual targets as well as strategies and action plans and implementation at the customer
Requirements
Completed degree in economics/business administration or equivalent vocational training (e.g., Industrial Clerk)
Operational experience and proven success in Key Account Management / Sales for private label and FMCG products with a focus on German retail headquarters (e.g., in roles such as Senior Key Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Manager)
Experience in leading negotiations and closing annual business discussions, with detailed knowledge of customer-side structures and decision-making processes
Good understanding of market research results and the ability to translate them into arguments for customers
Fluent German and English, both written and spoken, for communication with customers
