About the role

  • Assistant Branch Manager leading the South Main branch operations at a Credit Union. Responsible for team motivation, compliance monitoring, and member experience management.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional leadership on-site at our South Main location
  • Keep the branch running smoothly
  • Inspire a high-performing team
  • Shape the member experience in meaningful ways
  • Work closely with the Branch Manager to ensure branch meets organizational goals
  • Manage and lead an effective sales process while supporting excellent member service
  • Open new accounts and submit loans for processing and decisioning
  • Monitor office activity for compliance to applicable regulations
  • Train branch personnel and prepare work schedules
  • Manage branch in absence of Branch Manager
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 1-3 years in banking, financial services, or similar experience
  • 1-3 years of management or leadership experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to motivate, influence, and educate staff and members
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and standard office equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret financial documents and contracts
  • Associate degree, business/trade school certification, or equivalent training.
