About the role

  • Projektmanager/in Gastronomie managing gastronomy projects such as markets and gala dinners. Responsibilities include preparation, execution, supplier management, personnel planning, and budget oversight.

Responsibilities

  • Independently prepare, coordinate and execute gastronomy projects such as Christmas markets, Easter markets, gala dinners and event catering
  • Create schedules and coordinate all internal and external stakeholders
  • Select, negotiate with and manage suppliers; determine requirements, compare offers, handle ordering and inspect incoming goods
  • Plan staffing needs and recruit catering personnel; create work schedules, conduct briefings and provide on-site operational leadership of teams
  • Plan and organize the setup and dismantling of furniture and equipment
  • Develop, optimize and cost dishes, beverages and product offerings
  • Prepare and monitor project budgets
  • Ensure gastronomic, service-related and hygiene standards (including HACCP)

Requirements

  • Several years of experience in project management, preferably in the gastronomy/foodservice sector
  • Solid knowledge of logistics, inventory management and people leadership
  • Excellent organizational skills with a structured, solution-oriented working style
  • Resilience and flexibility during peak periods
  • Proficient in MS Office
