About the role

  • Site Manager working on SHDF retrofit programme within the social housing background. Responsible for high standard Site Management activities and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Working on our SHDF retrofit programme within the social housing background
  • Providing a stable and profitable contract
  • Delivering excellent service and support through local teams
  • Supporting high standard Site Management activities for Planned Works Programmes to Housing properties
  • Delivering best in class customer service, satisfying all safety, quality, and cost control standards
  • Managing the day-to-day operational delivery of planned works contract and associated staff
  • Ensuring contractual KPI’s targets are achieved and maintained
  • Managing internal and external works including wall cavity insulation, new windows, doors, storage heaters, and roofing
  • Monitoring work programme progression and completion via ongoing site visits
  • Ensuring compliance and adherence to H&S regulations
  • Carrying out onsite inspections, preparing reports and offering solutions
  • Providing good management of employees’ performance
  • Ensuring customer experience is central to all activities

Requirements

  • SMSTS qualification
  • Knowledge of PAS 2035 domestic retrofit EWI/CWI
  • Asbestos Awareness
  • First aid at work
  • Social housing refurbishment experience
  • UK Full Driving License
  • Working at heights to include scaffold inspection experience
  • Knowledge of housing improvements measured term contracts and Schedule of Rates
  • Managing, monitoring, recording, and reporting of Health & Safety and compliance
  • Experience of managing sub-contractors
  • Health & Safety knowledge, including COSHH
  • Strong customer focus
  • Problem solving & results orientated
  • Ability to negotiate and influence
  • IT literate with confident oral and written communication skills
  • Thorough knowledge of CDM requirements
