- Apply user-centered design principles to understand problems and guide product direction**• Translate user goals and real-world scenarios into clear workflows and interface designs**• Conduct or support user research, synthesize findings, and ensure they inform design decisions**• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for web and mobile**• Validate concepts and designs through testing and incorporate feedback into iterative improvements**• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to ensure clarity on requirements, user needs, and design intent**• Ensure designs follow accessibility best practices and support a wide range of user needs**• Contribute to and apply a consistent design system across products**• Communicate design rationale effectively through presentations, storytelling, and facilitation**• Advocate for design best practices and contribute to improving design processes
Requirements
- 3–5 years in a Product Design or User Experience role**• Portfolio demonstrating product design, workflow design, research-informed decisions, and visual design skills**• Strong understanding of design processes, from research to prototyping to testing
- **PREFERRED****• Experience designing for business software or other complex applications**• Experience working in an agile or iterative development environment
- **EDUCATION****• Bachelor’s degree, diploma, or post-secondary training in Product Design, User Experience, or a related field preferred
