Responsibilities

  • Coach your BDMs on qualifying leads, overcoming objections, and closing techniques
  • Conduct regular 1-2-1s focused on performance improvement and skill development
  • Shadow calls and provide real-time feedback to improve conversion rates
  • Run team training sessions on product knowledge, sales methodology, and best practices
  • Monitor team KPIs (conversion %, pipeline velocity, deal size) and drive improvements
  • Create accountability through clear targets and performance reviews
  • Build team morale and maintain a high-energy, performance-driven culture
  • Work with marketing and BDE teams to improve lead quality and qualification
  • Analyse conversion data to identify bottlenecks and opportunities
  • Report team progress and insights to Sales Management
  • Collaborate on incentive structures and recognition programs
  • Manage team capacity, diaries, and resource allocation

Requirements

  • Proven B2B sales experience in Telecoms, IT, or technology solutions
  • Track record of strong conversion
  • Coaching or mentoring experience in a sales environment (formal or informal)
  • Understanding of the full sales cycle from lead qualification to contract signature
  • Strong communicator – you can give constructive feedback and inspire performance
  • Data-driven mindset – comfortable using metrics to identify problems and track improvement
  • Leadership presence – people naturally look to you for guidance and direction
  • Highly organized – can manage multiple team members and priorities simultaneously
