About the role

  • Client Services Account Manager responsible for tailored strategies in affiliate marketing for financial institutions. Focused on driving client success while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver results for managed clients, within client expectations and against internal projections.
  • Grow managed programs QoQ.
  • Develop and execute program strategies to drive revenue for both managed clients and network clients, ensuring alignment with client goals and KPIs with a high level of independence
  • Identify and present “out of the box” opportunities to increase revenue for managed clients leveraging your affiliate expertise and knowledge sharing across the team.
  • Upsell Fintel Connect products and services within client portfolios.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of Fintel Connect’s business needs, technology capabilities, industry trends and client objectives to continuously deliver results.
  • Organize, document, and manage the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience within the agreed SLA.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the main point of contact for all account-related matters.
  • Perform monthly ROI analysis on affiliate programs, ensuring optimal performance and providing actionable insights to clients.
  • Regularly review data within the Fintel Connect platform, responding proactively to optimize results and address any issues.
  • Provide strategic support to high-volume, high-value, and/or high-touch clients by demonstrating expert knowledge of tracking systems, testing and monitoring client systems as needed.
  • Actively resolve client escalations, manage churn risk, and address challenging situations, including proactive intervention in potential client resignations.
  • Manage and support technical optimizations, disruptions, and cross-departmental initiatives to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Demonstrate technical expertise in tracking systems and product functionality, ensuring timely resolution of issues as they arise, including data integration, performance tracking, troubleshooting, and platform optimization.
  • Demonstrate expertise in all Fintel Connect products, including newly launched offerings.
  • Stay informed and educated on product changes, updates, and new features to provide the best possible service to clients and ensure accurate communication across teams.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support marketing, sales, and technical needs, as required, including spearheading new team onboarding.
  • Lead training and knowledge-sharing sessions for new hires and ongoing department-wide development, focusing on key areas such as client strategy, affiliate management best practices, and performance analysis tools.
  • Prioritize time towards revenue generating activities and meeting revenue goals.
  • Support department mandate of creating efficiencies in admin and account management tasks by identifying and creating daily efficiencies for yourself in the role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (required); additional certifications in Digital Marketing, Performance Marketing, or Affiliate Management (preferred)
  • Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in affiliate marketing, digital marketing, or client success (marketing/agency focus), with a strong track record of managing high-performing client accounts
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing data-driven strategies that deliver measurable growth through affiliate partnerships
  • Strong understanding of the affiliate marketing channel, including network operations, partner management, and compliance standards
  • Experience working with clients in the financial services industry or other highly regulated sectors (preferred)
  • Proven ability to serve as a strategic advisor and escalation point for clients, providing high-level guidance and performance solutions
  • Skilled in managing performance reporting, tracking KPIs, and translating analytics into actionable insights
  • Proficiency with relevant marketing and analytics tools, including CRM systems, affiliate tracking platforms, and data visualization tools
  • Experience contributing to cross-functional initiatives, process improvements, and departmental training and development
