About the role

  • Head of Account Management leading a high-performance team in account management for a global SaaS company in the hospitality and retail sector.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the team: You lead the Account Management team, coach your colleagues, and foster a motivating high‑performance culture.
  • Ensure retention & growth: You ensure existing customers receive excellent care and, together with your team, identify up‑ and cross‑selling opportunities.
  • Manage pipeline & forecasts: You keep an overview of the entire pipeline and ensure targets such as MRR and KPIs are consistently met or exceeded.
  • Collaborate with Sales: You work closely with the Direct Sales team and ensure new deals transition smoothly into long‑term partnerships.
  • Optimize processes: You evolve existing processes, tools, and best practices in Account Management.
  • Manage strategic accounts: For large deals or key brands, you take an active role yourself and support your team in complex negotiations or partnerships.
  • Develop team performance: You analyze your team’s pipeline, forecasts, and activities and provide targeted feedback.

Requirements

  • Leadership experience in Account Management: You have previously led an Account or Customer Success team.
  • SaaS or tech background: Ideally you have experience in industries such as software, SaaS, cloud, e‑commerce, retail‑tech, or hospitality‑tech.
  • Leadership & coaching: You have a strong coaching mentality and actively develop people.
  • Results orientation: You understand how teams reach goals together, manage KPIs, and drive sustainable growth.
