• Managing the processing of invoices through Dext (expense management software) to ensure appropriate approval chains are satisfied and each cost is correctly tagged/identified before submission to Xero/ equivalent finance system.
• Understanding the basics and core components to compile a VAT return and understanding what transactions are to be recorded in each box.
• Preparing monthly depreciation journals and updating and maintaining a fixed asset register.
