About the role

  • Sales Manager driving sales strategy and revenue growth for FIFA Museum's B2B and B2C customers. Engaging with clients and collaborating with internal teams to maximize offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Achievement of sales targets and sustainable revenue growth in line with the sales strategy
  • Development and implementation of sales plans to expand the FIFA Museum's B2B and B2C customer base
  • Primary point of contact for customers, including active management of existing accounts and acquisition of new customers
  • Identification and follow-up of national and international sales opportunities
  • Maintenance and further development of the customer database in close collaboration with the Event Services team
  • Close cooperation with internal departments (Events, Guest Relations, Shop, Gastronomy, Exhibitions, Heritage) to further develop commercial offerings
  • Management of strategic ticketing partnerships to increase visitor numbers
  • Oversight of sales plans, KPIs, and reporting for ongoing business and tenders
  • Ensuring efficient sales processes and contract execution in collaboration with the Commercial Legal team
  • Support in new business pitches and onboarding of new clients
  • Representation of the FIFA Museum at industry events and support of the Director Commercial in shaping and executing the sales strategy

Requirements

  • Several years of experience in Sales Management, Account Management, CRM, or international sales
  • Solid industry experience and an established network within the sports, events/MICE, or hospitality sector – ideally in football or within cultural or tourism institutions
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English (additional FIFA languages such as French or Spanish are an advantage)
  • Strong proficiency in standard Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel (reporting and analysis) and PowerPoint (preparation of professional presentations), is essential for the successful performance of this role
  • University degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a comparable field
  • Experience in developing and implementing sales strategies as well as in business development
  • In-depth knowledge of selling digital content and advertising, including digital and social media platforms and analytics
  • Strong sales drive, high customer orientation, and proven negotiation skills
  • Excellent ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
  • Analytical and structured working style with strong execution capabilities
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and perform successfully in a dynamic, international environment
  • Team-oriented personality with strong interpersonal and communication skills
