About the role

  • Convention Sales Manager handling event sales and client relationships in the Frankfurt area. Involves client consultations and coordination with various departments.

Responsibilities

  • Responsibility for the Greater Frankfurt area
  • Acquisition of new clients and maintenance of existing relationships
  • Preparation of proposals, pricing calculations and contract processing for events
  • Advising clients on event options, catering, decoration and services
  • Support from reservation through event execution
  • Conducting site visits
  • Coordination with internal departments and external service providers
  • Collaboration with the reservations department for room bookings
  • Incident and issue management during events
  • Preparation of deposit invoices

Requirements

  • Completed training in hotel management, event management or a comparable qualification
  • Initial experience in sales or events, ideally in the hotel industry
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong organizational abilities, self-reliant and service-oriented
  • Flexible, resilient and a team player with a hands-on mentality
  • Confident use of MS Office as well as hotel and CRM systems
  • Good written and spoken German and English skills
