Accounts Receivable Specialist for Field Nation's accounting team, enhancing gig economy business processes and customer service.
Responsible for account reconciliation and collections management.
Responsibilities
Review accounts receivable aging on a weekly basis, reaching out to customers via email and phone for status of unpaid invoices
Ability to reconcile accounts receivable between Field Nation platform and Netsuite ERP
Provide weekly updates to Accounts Receivable Manager and Controller on past due accounts
Provide weekly updates to internal Account Owners on past due accounts
Provide monthly and quarterly updates to leadership of DSO trends
Coordinate with and act as primary contact for third-party collections agency, monitoring and submitting perpetually unresponsive and difficult client accounts
Monitor the Accounting shared inbox for collections and invoice related inquiries and respond within 24 hours
Monitor the public Accounting Slack channel, addressing and solving collections and invoice related inquiries along with basic requests and questions
Address and resolved any assigned Salesforce cases related to collections and Accounts Receivable inquiries
Partner internally on Accounting projects and initiatives
Maintain professional tone when communicating with clients at all times
Assist with reconciliations and closing process as needed
Assist with Accounts Receivable cash application and billing as needed
Aid in implementation of accounting policies and identifying the areas of improvement.
Assist with implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures
Requirements
Proficiency in oral and written English - a must
3+ years of previous accounting experience, preferably Accounts Receivable
Customer Service experience
Ability to work night shift
Critical thinking and problem solving skills
Salesforce and Netsuite knowledge is a plus
Experience communicating by phone to English speaking customers
