About the role
- EEHS Manager responsible for developing and implementing EHS programs across Ferrara manufacturing plants. Championing safety culture, compliance, and continuous improvement in the organization.
Responsibilities
- Champion a strong safety culture across the facility, promoting the “Drive to Zero Injuries” mindset and ensuring alignment with corporate EHS standards
- Lead and support initiatives focused on injury prevention, environmental compliance, sustainability, and occupational health
- Provide training, coaching, and technical guidance to Managers, Supervisors, and employees to strengthen EHS knowledge and ownership
- Drive continuous improvement in EHS systems by analyzing data, identifying trends, and implementing corrective and preventive actions
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure that safety, health, and environmental requirements are integrated into daily operations and new projects
Requirements
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Safety, Chemistry or a related technical field
- 3+ years of EHS experience as EEHS manager in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry
- Knowledge of EHS management systems, regulatory compliance (local and federal), and risk assessment methodologies
- Familiarity with EHS management systems such as ISO 14001, ISO 45001, or OHSAS 18001
- Proven experience delivering EHS training (DC-5 certification desirable)
- Knowledge of radiological safety
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and supervising personnel
- Knowledge on BBS program
