About the role
- Financial and Business Ops Analyst supporting FMI finance applications and reporting systems for mining company. Collaborating on projects and assisting with financial modeling and reporting under supervision.
Responsibilities
- Support cross-functional projects in partnership with the central finance team
- Develop expertise in FMI finance applications and reporting systems
- Assist with projects, group tasks, assignments, and financial modeling under close supervision
- Maintain foundational knowledge of reporting systems and applications (e.g., Power BI, OneStream)
- Strong communication and organizational skills to support the creation and delivery of development plans
- Perform routine responsibilities across multiple finance and accounting functions (e.g., budgeting, forecasting, reporting)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Economics, Business, or a related field, and two (2) years of related experience
- OR Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Economics, Business, or a related field, and one (1) year of related experience.
- Experience with OneStream.
- Experience with financial modeling.
- Mining or manufacturing industry experience
- Experience with MS Excel and Power Query
- Basic database understanding
