About the role

  • Category Marketing Manager driving category-level marketing strategy for Mitchell & Ness. Collaborating cross-functionally to enhance brand storytelling and consumer engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of category-level marketing strategies aligned to brand priorities and seasonal business goals.
  • Translate consumer insights and category performance into clear marketing recommendations and plans.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Brand Marketing, Product, Merchandising, Creative, and Sales to bring category stories to life.
  • Help shape integrated marketing briefs and contribute to campaign and activation planning.
  • Ensure category marketing initiatives are aligned with Mitchell & Ness brand standards and storytelling.
  • Quarterback cross-functional stakeholder groups to align on shared goals and drive execution, owning timelines and deliverables to ensure on-time results.
  • Track performance of category initiatives and share learnings and insights to inform future planning.
  • Contribute creative ideas and fresh thinking to help evolve how categories show up across channels.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3–5 years of related marketing experience, preferably within consumer, lifestyle, sports, or fashion brands.
  • Strategic and consumer-focused mindset with the ability to connect insights to execution.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and the ability to influence partners.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable managing work independently while balancing multiple priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative thinker with a solid foundation in brand and integrated marketing principles.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
