About the role

  • Junior Media Buyer role supporting media planning, negotiation, and campaign execution for a brokerage firm in Cyprus. Joining a multicultural team in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Media Research & Planning: Assist in identifying popular websites, platforms, and media channels that align with our brand’s target demographics
  • Negotiation & Procurement: Negotiate ad rates, placements, and "run of site" packages with publishers, media sales representatives, and platform partners to secure the best value for our budget
  • Campaign Execution: Handle the tactical setup, booking, and traffic of ad campaigns to ensure they go live on time and according to specification
  • Performance Monitoring: Track campaign KPIs daily (CPM, CTR, CPA, etc.) and proactively suggest optimizations to improve performance.
  • Relationship Building: Maintain positive, long-term relationships with external vendors, website owners, and media partners
  • Reporting: Compile data into clear, actionable reports for internal stakeholders to highlight what is working and where we can pivot

Requirements

  • Experience: 0–3 years in digital marketing, advertising, or media buying (Internships count!)
  • Analytical Mindset: You are comfortable with data—you don’t just look at numbers; you look for the story they tell about audience behavior
  • Negotiation Skills: You have a persuasive nature and aren't afraid to pick up the phone or send the email to secure a better rate
  • Technical Literacy: Familiarity with standard ad-tech tools (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, or similar) and strong proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets
  • Communication: You are organized, clear, and can explain complex campaign data to people who aren’t "media people."
  • The "Scrappy" Factor: You are a problem-solver who can navigate a platform glitch or a tight deadline without needing to be handheld
