About the role

  • Brand & Marketing Designer at Acorn Strategy, enhancing visual identity and marketing presence through creative execution. Collaborating closely with internal teams, producing brand assets and campaign materials in hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design high-quality brand, marketing, and business development materials aligned with Acorn Strategy’s visual identity and brand standards.
  • Produce creative outputs across both digital and print formats, including campaign materials, proposals, presentations, and social media assets.
  • Translate written and verbal briefs into visually compelling, audience-appropriate design solutions that support business development and marketing objectives.
  • Apply core design principles such as hierarchy, typography, layout, balance, and contrast to create clear and effective visual communication.
  • Collaborate closely with the Business Development & Strategy team and other internal stakeholders to ensure design work aligns with strategic goals and campaign requirements.
  • Manage multiple deliverables and deadlines while maintaining accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail.
  • Participate constructively in creative review processes, confidently explaining design decisions and incorporating feedback to improve outputs.
  • Maintain organised design files and ensure outputs are prepared correctly for their intended platform or format.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of Acorn’s brand assets and creative standards across marketing channels.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Digital Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, with the ability to produce technically strong and polished design outputs.
  • Demonstrated experience working across brand identity systems and digital-first design, applying visual standards consistently across multiple touchpoints.
  • Strong understanding of core design principles including typography, layout, hierarchy, balance, and contrast.
  • A portfolio demonstrating high-quality design work across branding, marketing, and digital outputs.
  • Ability to interpret briefs accurately, ask clarifying questions, and align creative work with strategic objectives.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and respond constructively to feedback.
  • Curiosity and willingness to expand skills across related disciplines such as illustration, motion, or digital formats would be advantageous.
