About the role

  • Senior Assistant Company Secretary supporting EY UK's governance framework and Board operations. Collaborating with Senior Leadership and providing coaching to junior team members while ensuring compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Report directly to the Company Secretary
  • Support Board and certain Board committees
  • Work closely with Senior Leadership at EY UK
  • Provide oversight, guidance, coaching to junior team members
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain statutory records

Requirements

  • Experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of company secretarial practice in a regulated environment
  • Strong board/c-suite level experience
  • Ability to draft high quality formal minutes
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Project management and organisational skills
  • Line management experience
  • Statutory compliance experience, ideally with familiarity with Diligent Entities
