About the role
- Junior Finance Analyst supporting accounting, reporting, and internal control for EXFO Products in Mexico. Improving process efficiency and ensuring compliance with local and corporate requirements.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full process of accounts payable and expense reports
- Prepare journal entries, supporting documentation and weekly bank reconciliations
- Ensure that intercompany accounts are balanced
- Monitor cash flow on a bi-monthly basis
- Perform monthly budget variation analysis
- Improve the monitoring of fixed assets at the accounting level
- Oversee communications between the company and the government
- Collaborate with the head office team for relevant information requests
- Implement and maintain a proper internal control system in accordance with EXFO standards
Requirements
- 3 years above related work experience is preferred
- Excellent knowledge of Excel software and generally accepted accounting principles
- Experience in a multi-currency and multi-company environment is an asset
- Experience in an IMMEX company is an asset
- Knowledge of SAP accounting software is a definite asset
- Good communicator, diplomacy and strong sense of responsibility
- Able to communicate in Spanish and English (read, write and speak)
