About the role

  • Customer Service Center Representative responding to collections inquiries while communicating with the public and external attorneys. Requires high school diploma and 3.5 years call center experience

Responsibilities

  • Respond to incoming telephone, email, mail, and 3rd party collections inquiries
  • Communicate with the public, and external collection attorneys on a wide variety of subjects
  • Initiate outbound collection calls to delinquent customers and actively collect on delinquent accounts
  • Responding to customer calls outside regular hours in emergency situations and for planned overtime

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or the equivalent (GED) is required.
  • Three and one-half years experience in a Call Center environment for Level III.
  • Minimum of three years of customer service related experience is required
  • Intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel skills, required.
  • Applicant is required to have working knowledge of the C2 and CACS systems.
  • Familiarity with credit & collections practices and procedure is a plus.
  • The ability to speak multiple languages is a plus.
