About the role

  • Partner Success Specialist serving as a key liaison between Outside Sales Representatives and partner accounts. Driving customer satisfaction and sales growth for a leading global distributor.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary support for Outside Sales Reps, addressing high-level customer inquiries and assisting in account management to maximize revenue & gross margin on assigned book of business.
  • Prepare and manage quotes, proposals, and business reviews to support the sales process.
  • Conduct customer research to identify opportunities for deeper engagement and account growth (eg cross sell, margin expansion, revenue growth)
  • Manage Salesforce data, including account updates, pipeline tracking, and reporting to support sales representatives.
  • Resolve customer issues by coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely and effective resolution.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
  • Cultivate strong relationships with existing customers & suppliers to drive satisfaction, loyalty, and retention.
  • Adapt day-to-day activities to meet the unique needs of customers.
  • Partner closely with sales reps and other sales roles, including EB Sales Engineers and store counter sales teams, to deliver a seamless and high-quality customer experience.
  • Facilitate effective handoffs and communication between teams to maintain account continuity and satisfaction.
  • Assist with scheduling and coordinating partner meetings with outside sales representatives.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in account management, sales support, or customer service, preferably in distribution or related industries.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Experience working with a distributor-based sales model a plus
