About the role

  • Partner driving corporate sustainability and climate change strategies for Fortune 500 clients at ERM. Engage board-level executives, deliver impactful solutions for a low-carbon future.

Responsibilities

  • Shape ERM’s CS&CC practice and influence the future of climate advisory services.
  • Engage C-suite and Board leaders to integrate climate strategy into business strategy.
  • Drive growth through innovative solutions for low-carbon economy transition.
  • Mentor and develop the next generation of sustainability leaders.
  • Position ERM as the trusted advisor for climate strategy and disclosure.
  • Develop and expand strategic client relationships across North America.
  • Originate and deliver high-impact climate advisory engagements.
  • Collaborate with ERM’s global network to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Recruit, mentor, and inspire high-performing teams.
  • Ensure excellence in project execution, client satisfaction, and risk management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, engineering, science, business, or related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in consulting or corporate sustainability leadership.
  • Proven track record with Fortune 500 firms including oil and gas, chemical, mining, power, infrastructure, technology and/or manufacturing sectors.
  • Demonstrable success in delivering multi-million-dollar annual sales and winning strategic portfolios.
  • Expertise in climate strategy, carbon accounting, risk assessment, and disclosure frameworks (e.g., TCFD, CDP, SASB).
  • Strong business acumen and ability to engage senior executives on ESG priorities.
  • Recognized thought leader with established marketplace reputation (preferred).
  • Experience advising on net-zero and science-based target setting, decarbonization strategies, and investor engagement (preferred).
  • Ability to lead large-scale transformation programs and cross-functional teams (preferred).
