About the role

  • Account Executive focused on business development within accounting firms for Weekera's innovative payroll solutions. Engaging in client demonstrations and managing the sales cycle to drive growth.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and prospect accounting firms (chartered accounting firms)
  • Develop a client portfolio
  • Generate leads through direct outreach (phone, email, LinkedIn)
  • Handle inbound leads (website forms, trade shows, events)
  • Organize and conduct meetings (video / in-person)
  • Deliver demonstrations of the solution
  • Qualify accounting firms' needs and expectations
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations and demonstrations
  • Respond to requests for proposal and provide functional presentations
  • Negotiate and close sales
  • Manage follow-up through signature and project kick-off
  • Update and maintain the CRM (HubSpot)
  • Report on and analyze sales activities
  • Participate in professional trade shows and conferences (Ordre des Experts‑Comptables congress, regional events)
  • Provide market feedback to the product team

Requirements

  • Experience in B2B sales (ideally software/SaaS)
  • Good understanding of the challenges faced by accounting firms (a strong plus)
  • Proficiency in prospecting, discovery and closing techniques
  • Comfortable conducting product demonstrations
  • Ability to manage medium- to long-term sales cycles
  • Bachelor's to Master's degree (Bac+3 to Bac+5) in Business, Management, Finance
  • Proven first experience in B2B business development
  • Experience in payroll, HR or accounting is a major asset
