Responsibilities
Develop and manage a pipeline of opportunities across consumer, SME, and/or commercial segments.
Deliver against sales and revenue targets in line with company growth strategy.
Lead prospecting, proposal development, and contract negotiation to close deals.
Support the launch and scaling of solution products (tariffs, smart charging, vehicle-to-grid, bundled services, heat, solar & storage and financing).
Build strategic partnerships with technology providers, installers, community groups, and trade associations to expand reach.
Negotiate commercial agreements to expand distribution channels and enhance customer value.
Act as a trusted advisor to clients, tailoring solutions to their needs.
Monitor trends in the energy market and share insights internally to shape strategy and proposition design.
Requirements
Proven experience in business development, sales, or partnerships (energy, utilities, telecoms, or related sectors).
Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales/commercial targets.
Strong relationship management and negotiation skills.
Commercial and financial acumen - ability to structure and evaluate business deals.
Knowledge of solutions, EV charging or energy retail propositions.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
