About the role

  • HR Generalist role in Cambridge, Ontario to support client groups and enhance employee experience. Collaborates with HR team on initiatives, leads engagement surveys, and administers payroll.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive HR support to assigned client groups
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to people leaders on HR policies and employee relations
  • Act as a first point of contact for employee inquiries
  • Collaborate with the HR team on initiatives that support our people strategy
  • Lead the employee engagement survey process
  • Serve as a backup for payroll processing
  • Assist with the preparation of HR reports and metrics

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years experience in an HR Generalist role
  • Must have previous payroll experience in running payroll (ADP preferred)
  • Solid understanding of employment standards legislation (Ontario)
  • Previous experience on compensation is an asset
  • Graduate of Human Resources Diploma, CHRP designation or actively pursuing it
  • Ability to travel to client sites or industry events when required
