About the role
- Accountant Analyst managing financial routines including audits and financial statements in a large Brazilian packaging company. Focus on accounting closures and diverse business area interactions.
Responsibilities
- Support external audits.
- Prepare the company's financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement (DRE), Cash Flow Statement, Statement of Changes in Equity (DMPL), and Notes to the Financial Statements).
- Prepare and submit the companies' ECD and ECF filings, executing all required procedures in the systems.
- Accounting close (month-end closing).
- Prepare trial balances, determine financial results, and analyze cash flows.
- Calculate income tax (IR) and social contribution on net profit (CSL).
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Experience in accounting, with involvement in monthly accounting close routines, preferably in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Knowledge of cost accounting is a plus.
- Knowledge of Operating Profit (Lucro da Exploração) is a plus.
