About the role

  • Sales Engineer supporting hybrid power solutions for U.S. military. Expert in hybrid power systems, integrating with tactical vehicles and ensuring mission-ready power solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities for hybrid power solutions, primarily within the U.S. defense and military sectors.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on our hybrid power systems.
  • Understand complex power requirements and demonstrate how Rebel products successfully integrate with generators and military vehicles and renewable power solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling technical presentations, product demonstrations, and engineering proposals to prospective military clients and defense contractors.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by providing ongoing technical guidance and post-sales support.
  • Work closely with product management and engineering teams to communicate customer feedback, mission-critical requirements, and specific product improvements.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a specific focus on Power desired.
  • 5+ years of proven experience working directly in power systems.
  • Deep understanding of hybrid power systems, power conversion (Both AC and DC, 100W to 60kW), batteries, and system integration with generators, tactical vehicles, and non-tactical vehicles.
  • Background & Security Clearance: Must be able to securely access military installations. Candidates must be able to pass a strict background check. A minimum of a DoD Secret clearance is highly preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time to client sites, military bases, trade shows, and field testing locations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both engineering personnel and military procurement officers.
