About the role
- Project Manager for Battery Storage Systems at ENERCON leading renewable energy projects in Germany. Overseeing engineering, construction, and project management for battery storage systems.
Responsibilities
- Clarify grid connection points for BESS and support customers during the project initiation phase in close cooperation with Sales and internal specialist departments
- Perform engineering work and tenders for BESS infrastructure, including technical negotiations and contract clarification in coordination with Procurement
- Overall control of the construction phase with respect to cost, quality and schedule
- Construction supervision & quality assurance — site supervision and quality control during installation in cooperation with expert teams
- Manage commissioning and grid connection up to successful handover (take-over) to the customer
Requirements
- Completed technician or master craftsman qualification, or alternatively an engineering degree in Electrical Engineering
- Professional experience in project management for battery energy storage systems
- Knowledge of construction and electrical engineering
- Strong communication skills and a responsible working style
- Goal- and solution-oriented team player
- German – business fluent
- Good written and spoken English is advantageous
- Willingness to travel within Germany (approx. 30%)
