About the role

  • Electrical Works Manager providing technical expertise and project management in wind energy projects. Collaborating with clients and internal teams to ensure successful execution and delivery.

Responsibilities

  • You advise customers, sales teams and energy utilities on electrical engineering matters
  • You act as subproject manager for the electrical disciplines within customer projects — with responsibility for schedule, costs and quality
  • You develop grid connection concepts and implement them in coordination with grid operators and internal specialist departments
  • You plan SCADA systems and communication interfaces, including on-site functional testing
  • You are responsible for the design, tendering and implementation of the electrical infrastructure in accordance with technical standards and grid requirements, taking into account ENERCON’s scope of supply
  • You analyze risks, downtimes and costs and support contractual protection with customers and suppliers

Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, ideally with a focus on Power Engineering, or an equivalent qualification (e.g., certified technician / master craftsman)
  • Preferably substantial experience in the planning and implementation of electrical power systems, ideally in the wind or energy sector
  • Experience in project management and in controlling technical scopes of supply
  • Confident handling of technical standards and requirements of energy utilities
  • Business-fluent German and good command of English
  • Independent and solution-oriented working style (hands-on mentality), strong communication skills, and openness and empathy in personal interactions with customers, partners and internal teams
