About the role

  • Assistant Branch Manager leading and coaching teams at TD Canada Trust to ensure operational excellence. Building relationships with customers while delivering financial solutions and contributing to TD's success.

Responsibilities

  • Lead teams in completing investment and unsecured credit compliance transactions
  • Coach advisory and frontline staff on resolving customer complaints
  • Resolve operational and high-risk issues while ensuring the team works within regulatory requirements
  • Mentor a team on advice-giving strategies
  • Ensure the branch advisory spaces are inviting for customers
  • Meet customer demands by maintaining accurate employee scheduling
  • Share information and expertise with team members while coordinating activities
  • Work closely with TD partners to help customers meet their financial needs
  • Improve processes and work efficiency of the team by providing feedback
  • Build a positive and diverse workforce by providing equal opportunity

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree and/or over 4 years of relevant experience
  • Completion of Branch Compliance Officer (BCO) and IFIC or CSC Course
  • Extensive knowledge of team, process, and risk management along with advanced understanding of the business
  • Proficiency in productivity tools and software tools including MS Office
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with customers, employee and cross functional teams
