Maintain regulatory compliance, accurate records, and prepare required reports
Address pay and benefits inquiries while maintaining strict confidentiality
Requirements
Payroll and benefits experience
Post-secondary education in HR, Accounting, or Business Administration
Proven experience administering payroll systems and employee benefits programs
Strong experience with payroll systems, spreadsheets, and data analysis tools
Comprehensive knowledge of payroll legislation, tax rules, and benefits regulations
Ability to create accurate reports and documentation
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Collaborative team player able to liaise effectively between employees, HR, Finance, and third-party providers
Analytical approach to challenges with strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to improve payroll processes; adapts to changing regulations; maintains confidentiality
Nice to have: Professional certifications such as PCP (Payroll Compliance Practitioner), CPM (Certified Payroll Manager), or equivalent are valued for career advancement
