About the role

  • Field Sales Account Manager driving value creation for clients and managing relationships in Katowice. Responsible for identifying business opportunities and ensuring satisfaction among stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with account stakeholders, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty and developing and executing account plans to acquire accounts, identifying product white spaces, creating demand and identify green-or brownfield project opportunities.
  • Mapping out the key stakeholders within customer organizations, understand their roles, responsibilities, and influence, and building relationships between them and the various Emerson sales personas.
  • Conducting thorough needs assessments in collaboration with BDMs to identify customer pains, problems, and challenges that our products or solutions can address.
  • Presenting and differentiating tailored solutions to stakeholders, demonstrating how our products can meet their specific needs and solve their problems.
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within assigned accounts from lead to PO, focusing on maximizing the potential of our product portfolio, including filling whitespace and generate new demand for our products and services.
  • Working closely with support team, BDMs and specialists to ensure high quality customer conversations and solution and services development. Assigning ownership of complex or long lead pursuit to Solutions BDM or project pursuit leaders. Supporting and guiding BDMs in reaching the necessary decision makers in the customer’s organization.
  • Realizing price through using the portfolio creating customer value. Defining account strategies balancing price and volume.
  • Staying informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of market demands.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all account activities, opportunities, product life cycle management and sales forecasts in CRM or otherwise sales tech systems.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in technical field sales role or similar experience
  • Engineering background
  • Experience in selling products and solution to customers in relevant industry (chemical, power, refining, oil and gas)
  • Fluent in Polish language
  • Proficient in English language (verbal and written)
  • Willingness to travel (minimum 50% of the time)
