About the role

  • B2B Business Development Executive responsible for managing new issuers in the payment sector. Analyzing markets and collaborating with internal teams to drive business opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for B2B account management (New Issuers). Serve as the point of contact between Elo and the partner, ensuring deliverables and adding value through new business opportunities;
  • Analyze the payments market, evolution scenarios and identify segments with high potential for Elo's entry;
  • Conduct recurring meetings with internal teams and portfolio partners to capture priorities, discuss opportunities and align the priority agenda according to the customer’s and partner’s portfolio;
  • Actively participate in the partnership implementation process, interacting with Operations, Finance, processor, IT and other Elo teams;
  • Support activation, usage and preference for Elo payment solutions by coordinating actions and campaigns together with Marketing and Product teams;
  • Lead corporate meetings to present, discuss and align opportunities with portfolio partners;
  • Analyze performance indicators and support the discussion and refinement of action plans with clients;
  • Review, prioritize and mobilize actions aligned with the company’s strategy;
  • Analyze results and define monetization strategies;
  • Monitor performance and propose actions, offers, campaigns, etc.;
  • Engage internal teams to deliver on partner-generated requests;
  • Ensure contract execution regarding incentives, fees, timelines and conditions;
  • Renegotiate contracts (business case analyses, contract drafting, materials for executive committees);
  • Generate additional revenue for Elo (complementary services);
  • Identify and structure new business opportunities within issuer portfolios, focusing on sustainable, long-term growth.

Requirements

  • Analytical/financial background, with the ability to structure analyses, interpret data and build solid arguments to discuss opportunities;
  • Strong communication and relationship skills across functions and with senior leadership — frequent alignment meetings with multiple teams will be required to collect information, test and refine hypotheses;
  • High negotiation and influencing capability, defending your point of view in a constructive and collaborative manner;
  • Hands-on, inquisitive profile with an execution orientation;
  • Able to create professional and creative presentations in PowerPoint and/or Canva;
  • Experience in the payments industry;
  • Intermediate English.
