Responsibilities
Collaborate with executive management to define long-term objectives for the company and coordinate with OEM customers
Represent the company to customers, partners and suppliers — both nationally and internationally
Build and maintain a network within OEMs to gather information on new programs and product developments
Promote customer relationship management through regular on-site meetings
Take an active lead in the quotation process for program acquisition and contract changes for all responsible programs
Prepare and implement new business strategies and/or order-acquisition strategies for regional and global programs
Ensure the accuracy of data used for sales forecasts
Monitor and report on competitive market conditions, including pricing, market presence, technology, quality, etc.
Requirements
Degree in business administration or a technical/engineering field
Several years of experience working with major OEMs in the automotive and commercial vehicle industry
Experience in program management within an OEM environment
Extensive industry knowledge of customers and competitors
Understanding of advanced product quality planning processes (e.g., APQP)
Strong understanding of cost structures and cost drivers
Assertive with strong negotiation skills and a high sense of responsibility
Very good written and spoken English
Confident use of MS Office products and ERP systems
