About the role

  • Client Development Director managing healthcare account relationships for growth and strategic execution. Collaborates with business units to enhance customer experience and operational outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as the market quarterback, responsible for owning internal client relationships
  • Drives growth and ensures market-level execution in partnership with Carelon and Elevance business units
  • Combines strategic client development with operational accountability
  • Builds and maintains trusted relationships with market executives and client stakeholders
  • Partners with Carelon Health Cost of Care on deployment of cost-of-care solutions
  • Accountable for client implementations and outcomes, ensuring satisfaction, retention, and recognition of value
  • Collaborates across Carelon Health businesses to provide consistent customer experience
  • Applies data insights and dashboards to frame market priorities, identify risks, and guide decision-making
  • Elevates the voice of the customer into actionable insights

Requirements

  • Requires a BA/BS in health care related field
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in account management, sales and/or operations in the health care industry
  • MBA preferred
  • 7–10+ years of experience in healthcare account management, operations, or consultative sales (payer/provider/services)
  • Demonstrated success growing and sustaining complex healthcare partnerships
  • Demonstrated ability to engage senior market executives, with strong executive presence and influence
  • Strong project management discipline
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills
