About the role

  • Account Representative supporting strategic sales and account associates in client retention. Responsible for building relationships and managing routine sales and claims issues with clients.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for supporting strategic sales and account associates in the growth and retention of existing accounts
  • Acts as partner to build external relationships with existing clients, members, and brokers
  • Works with sales and account associates to develop an understanding of client needs and priorities
  • Manages routine sales, claims and benefit issues by researching, resolving and responding to clients, members, and brokers
  • Conducts meetings with clients to educate and drive opportunities for additional growth and product sales
  • Coordinates with sales support on request for proposal ("RFP") responses to brokers and groups
  • Acts as a collaborative partner with internal stakeholders to meet and exceed client expectations

Requirements

  • Requires a BA/BS and a minimum 1 year of related experience
  • Sales license required where necessary or the ability to obtain within 60 days of hire
  • Client facing experience preferred
  • Ability to travel throughout VA preferred
